Lynton laser · NorthumberlandLaser Hair Removal in Northumberland
Medical-grade laser is thin on the ground in Northumberland. Ours is a Lynton system run by an aesthetics nurse, in central Morpeth — within half an hour of most of the county.

Why the county is underserved
Laser hair removal is widely offered and not widely done well. The gap is equipment and who operates it: a medical-grade platform costs many times what a salon-grade machine costs, and running it safely across the full range of skin tones takes clinical training rather than a weekend course. Outside Newcastle there are not many places in Northumberland doing both.
Lynton, and why it matters here
Lynton is British-built, medical-grade and the manufacturer used across the NHS. Our INITIA diode handles the full range of skin tones, which is the practical difference — plenty of machines simply cannot treat darker skin safely, and the honest ones will tell you so rather than turn the power down and waste your money.
Getting here
We are at 16 Oldgate in the centre of Morpeth, off the A1 and on the East Coast Main Line. Ashington and Bedlington are about fifteen minutes, Cramlington and Blyth twenty, Alnwick and Amble twenty-five, and Newcastle twenty-five up the A1. Full detail is on our areas we cover page.
A course means repeat visits
Be realistic before you commit: six to eight sessions six to eight weeks apart on the body, four weeks apart on the face. That is a year of appointments. If you are travelling from the top of the county it is worth pairing each session with something else in the same visit, and we will sequence the day for you if you say so when booking.
By area
- Facial — lip, chin, jaw, including hormonal and PCOS-related growth
- Bikini, Brazilian and Hollywood
- Men — back, chest, shoulders and beard line
- Legs, arms, underarms and full body, individually or as packages
The patch test
Free, mandatory, and at least twenty-four hours before your first session. It establishes safe settings for your skin rather than assuming them, and it is the step that separates a clinic from a salon.

Is your laser suitable for all skin types?
Yes. The Lynton INITIA diode covers the full range of skin tones, and the free patch test establishes safe parameters before the first full session.
How many sessions will I need?

Can I combine appointments if I am travelling?
Yes, and we would recommend it. Tell us at booking and we will run treatments back to back rather than leaving you waiting.
