Bio-remodelling · MorpethProfhilo in Morpeth, Northumberland
Not a filler. Profhilo spreads through the skin rather than sitting under it, improving hydration, firmness and crepiness without changing the shape of your face.

What bio-remodelling means
Profhilo is one of the most concentrated hyaluronic acid products available, made without the cross-linking that gives filler its structure. That means it does not hold a shape — it disperses through the tissue, drawing in water and stimulating the skin's own collagen and elastin over the following weeks.
The effect is a change in skin quality rather than facial contour. Skin looks better hydrated, firmer and less crepey. Nobody can tell you have had anything done, which for a lot of clients is precisely the point.
Where it works best
The lower face and jawline, the neck, the décolletage and the backs of the hands. It is particularly good for the crepey texture that appears in your forties and fifties and which no cream reaches.
Five points a side
Profhilo is placed at five specific points on each side of the face — the BAP technique — chosen because the product spreads from them reliably and safely. It takes very little time and uses a fine needle.
Two sessions, four weeks apart
The protocol is two treatments four weeks apart, and it genuinely does need both. Results build over the following six to eight weeks and hold for around six months, after which most clients repeat once or twice a year.
Profhilo or polynucleotides?
Profhilo hydrates and firms across a wider area. Polynucleotides repair at tissue level and are the better choice for the under-eye area and for skin that is damaged rather than simply ageing. We use both, and the consultation decides which.

Your questions
Frequently asked questions
How many sessions do I need?
Two, four weeks apart. That is the licensed protocol and a single session does not deliver the same result.
When will I see results?
Hydration is noticeable within a fortnight; the firmness and texture change builds over six to eight weeks after the second session.
Will it change the shape of my face?
No. Profhilo is not a filler and adds no structure or volume — it improves the quality of the skin itself.
