A skin clinic and salon about fifteen miles from Whitley Bay
Skin & Co is at 16 Oldgate in the centre of Morpeth, about about fifteen miles from Whitley Bay — twenty-five minutes in the car. Whitley Bay is not short of salons, so clients who make this drive are doing it for something specific — usually the clinical side, and usually after a treatment elsewhere did not deliver what was promised.
Getting here from Whitley Bay
The A192 north through Cramlington, or the A19 and A189 if you are coming from the Monkseaton side. Twenty-five minutes outside peak.
Oldgate runs west from the Market Place, so you are in the middle of town. Back Riggs, Dark Lane and the Sanderson Arcade car parks are all within a few minutes' walk, and Morpeth railway station on the East Coast Main Line is about ten minutes on foot. Buses from Newcastle, Ashington, Blyth and the coast stop in the town centre.
What Whitley Bay clients book with us
Injectables, Profhilo and polynucleotides, laser courses and Hydrafacial. Filler dissolving and correction work comes disproportionately from the coast.
One building, three floors of treatment
Skin & Co is a medical-led aesthetics clinic, a hair salon and a nail studio in the same building. That matters more than it sounds: a course of laser can sit alongside a colour appointment, a bride and her party can be prepared in one morning, and a skin plan does not mean driving between three different places in a fortnight.
Partnerships
We are Morpeth's official Hydrafacial provider, and we work on Lynton medical-grade laser, CryoPen cryotherapy and Dermalux LED. Those are the manufacturers' own platforms, with the training and consumables that come with them — not lookalike machines bought on price.
Consultation first
Every skin, laser and injectable plan starts with a consultation and a proper look at your skin, and treatment is only appropriate if that consultation says so. It is worth the journey from Whitley Bay once to find out what your skin actually needs before you commit to a course of anything.
Serving NE25 and NE26 and the surrounding villages.

Your questions
Frequently asked questions
How long is the drive from Whitley Bay?
About twenty-five minutes on the A192 through Cramlington, or via the A19 and A189.
Can you correct filler I had somewhere else?
Yes. Hyaluronidase dissolves any hyaluronic acid filler regardless of who placed it. It requires a consultation and a prescription, and there is no judgement attached.
Who does the injectables?
An aesthetics nurse, with prescriptions issued by an independent prescriber after consultation.
