Regenerative · MorpethPolynucleotides in Morpeth, Northumberland
PDRN-based regenerative treatment for tired, crepey under-eyes and skin that needs repairing rather than filling. A course of three, four weeks apart.

Repair rather than volume
Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments — PDRN — that act as a signal to the skin's own repair machinery. Injected into the tissue they improve hydration, stimulate fibroblasts and collagen, reduce inflammation and gradually improve the quality of the skin itself.
That makes them a different tool from filler. Nothing is being added for structure; the skin is being asked to rebuild. For thin, crepey, damaged or tired skin this is usually the more appropriate answer.
The under-eye area
This is where polynucleotides have made the biggest difference to what we can offer. Under-eye skin is too thin for filler in many people, and filler placed badly there is a long-running problem. Polynucleotides thicken and improve the skin instead, softening crepiness and dark shadowing without adding anything that can migrate or hold water.
Face, neck and elsewhere
Across the face they improve overall quality, fine lines and dullness. They also work well on the neck and on acne-scarred skin alongside microneedling.
The course
Three sessions, four weeks apart, is the standard course and where the £600 course price applies. Results build gradually — this is a treatment that looks better at week eight than week two — and typically hold for six to nine months.
Safety
Polynucleotides have a strong safety profile and, because nothing structural is being placed, the risks associated with filler in delicate areas do not apply in the same way. Treatment is nurse-led following consultation.

Your questions
Frequently asked questions
What are polynucleotides?
Purified DNA fragments, known as PDRN, that signal the skin to repair itself — improving hydration, collagen and skin quality. They add no volume and are not a filler.
How many sessions will I need?
Three, four weeks apart, is standard. Results continue building for several weeks after the last session.
Are they safe?
They have a strong safety profile and, because nothing structural is placed, they avoid the risks associated with filler in the under-eye area. Treatment is nurse-led after consultation.
Polynucleotides or Profhilo?
Polynucleotides repair damaged or thin skin and suit the under-eye area; Profhilo hydrates and firms across a wider area. The consultation decides which fits your skin.
